  • Lead DevOps

    Wiztopic | 2015-08 — 2020-11

    • Moved from a single prod server to a redundant infra with scalability and simplicity in mind, while staying on bare metal.
    • Wrote tools to handle build and deployment pipelines for the monolithic web app. Had to simplify processes for IT and developers alike.
    • Moved out a custom scrapping service from the PHP app, made it more scalable on Python by using threads and multi process.
    • Implemented app/infra monitoring via Datadog API and logging with ELK stack.
    • Hired and managed 2 junior IT engineers and multiple interns.
    • Wrote and presented multiple tech sessions focusing Docker, basic web networking, cloud and basic security rules.
    • Made a technological shift from bare metal to cloud for one of our customers, a french automobile manufacturer, in about 6 months with 2 people. Every single piece of the tech stack had to be running using Kubernetes, leading to a uniformisation of all infras.
